Carecoin (CARE) aims to revolutionize the healthcare industry by building a blockchain platform through which healthcare providers and patients can securely share medical data. Patients receive CARE coins in exchange for their personal data, and healthcare providers save time and money by not repeating tests and interviews unnecessarily.
Established in 2022, Carecoin stores its users’ medical and health data on the Ethereum blockchain, keeping it safe and secure. Users are incentivised to contribute to the platform’s development via rewards, such as access to additional services, the right to create or purchase non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and CARE coins.
Carecoin developed its CARE token so that medical care providers and patients can exchange data and money on its platform without intermediaries.
## Who Are the Founders of Carecoin?
Carecoin (CARE) was launched by a team of entrepreneurs and doctors from Japan.
The founder and CEO of Carecoin is Tatsuji Yamanouchi. He is also CEO of Well Medical Partners and the supervisor of Clinic 9ru - a wellness clinic based in Tokyo focusing on anti-ageing and cosmetic medicare.
Carecoin’s two other notable contributors are Norimasa Tsukada, the director of Clinic 9ru, and Nobui Kubo, who advises Clinic 9ru.
## What Makes Carecoin (CARE) Unique?
Carecoin seeks to provide healthcare providers and patients with an easy, cost-efficient way to share confidential medical data. Providers get the data they need, and patients can rest assured their data is secure, and are paid for providing it. The platform also keeps up with the times: a number of its services use the latest stem cell technology and AI for better results.
When patients are treated in either of the two clinics associated with Carecoin ("Clinic 9ru" and "The Prevention Clinic"), they will receive soul-bound tokens detailing their treatments which cannot be transferred to anyone else. Other healthcare providers will be able to view the medical data with a patient’s permission.
Carecoin plans to gradually expand its medical services using profits from its iPS cells (stored in the iPS bank) and its accumulated medical & health data. The platform plans to invest the funds into healthcare development and AI.
The following products are available on the platform:
**iPS Cell Bank**: a service provided by I Peace Corporation,created in Silicon Valley by Dr. Koji Tanabe;
**Doctor's cosmetics 3.0**: The first self-care product in an unprecedented effect by Deep IN Act, advocated by Clinic 9ru.
**AI Image Diagnosis**. A medical support system that implements image diagnosis by AI (the system achieves high-speed, high-precision AI analysis);
**BNCT**: A new type of cancer radiotherapy technology which seeks to minimize damage to patients.
